Kronospan Showroom
ISTANBUL, TURKEY
Kronospan Istanbul takes the brand's global vision a step further, conceived not merely as a product showroom, but as a dedicated Design Center and a platform for interaction. It is a space where materials are not just displayed in catalogs, but where they actively define the architecture itself—a hub where large-scale ideas are debated and brought to life. It is not just an exhibition area; it is a design center that explores the inherent potential of materials and places inspiration at its core.
Integrating a mezzanine floor and a material library, the design center functions as a laboratory for architects, interior designers, and creators. Kronospan’s extensive product range is utilized as actual spatial components—walls, ceilings, and furniture. Here, designers can test material combinations and receive technical consultancy for their projects.
The most defining characteristic of the space is that all surfaces and structures are brought to life using Kronospan’s own materials. Rather than existing as static samples, the products manifest within a functional kitchen, an inviting library, or a parametric wall installation. Designed to be tactile, experiential, and inspiring in every detail, this architectural composition transforms the visitor from a mere spectator into an active participant in the design process. Enclosed by high-capacity vertical panels, this conference area serves as a podium for the "exchange of knowledge," hosting a wide spectrum of events from architectural seminars and design workshops to sectoral launches and academic gatherings.
